TRANSGENDER BATHROOM RULE DROPPED ~ T. Rump, Trump By Trump – 2-2017
President Trump reversed the rule regarding transgender students using bathrooms of the gender that they identify themselves with.
The Obama administration guidance publicized in May 2016 said Title IX protects that right to choose.
Either way the interpretation is likely to be settled in the courts or in a new law settling the issue.
Trump offered no solution to where transgender students may go to the bathroom, but leaves it to the states to decide.
