46 US ATTORNEY’S FIRED IN 1 DAY ~ T. Rump – Trump By Trump – 3/2017
President Trump’s new Attorney General Jeff Sessions has asked for the resignations of 46 US attorneys today and to be out by tonight.
The attorney’s say they were given no warning about their dismissals. The massacre-like firings came Friday afternoon.
One law enforcement source charged that “this could not have been handled any worse”. It is a matter of course to fire the former President’s appointees overtime when turning the agency over to a new administration. President Ronald Reagan replaced a majority of his administration’s US attorneys within his first two years in office.
Senate Judiciary Committee Dianne Feinstein said she was “surprised” and “concerned” by the news of the firings, saying the actions contradict what she was told by the Vice President and other administration officials.
There seems to be some Trump paranoia over past appointees supporting former President Obama’s agenda. Trump does not seem to like any thing of Obama’s appointees, orders, health care or accomplishments.
