Anne Frank – A Rejected Refugee

ANNE FRANK, A REJECTED REFUGEE ~ T. Rump, Trump By Trump – 2-2017

Anne Frank perished in Bergen-Belsen, a Nazi concentration camp in Germany. Otto Frank, her father, had desperately sought visas to bring his family to the United States and escape the Nazi horror. The visa request was denied.

Otto Frank, survived and published his daughter’s famous story in “The Diary of a Young Girl.”

It is too scary that Trump encourages violence by his words and actions and confusion and bully tweets. Since He took office, there has been a surge in threats and attacks against both Jews and Muslims.

A Trump statement of January 27, the International Holocaust Remembrance Day, failed to even mention Jews. Trump was widely criticized. Yet, when asked by reporters about the rise of anti-Semitism, Trump responded by gloating about his election victory and another time told the reporter to sit down and be quiet.

Obviously Trump is not a thoughtful person at best or a thoughtless rabble rouser at worse.

Anne Frank, “What is done cannot be undone, but one can prevent it happening again.”
