Trump said he was going to “drain the swamp” of Washington D.C. At the rate He is going in the first 100 days He will soon have broken every campaign promise He made from replacing Obama Care to Tax Reform.
Let’s face it. We were conned. As someone once said “Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely”.
Corporate control of the government is now complete. If it was not enough to have money buy our politicians it is now corporate America that now controls all of government highest offices.
Trump refuses to open his tax returns, thus blocking the public’s right to know the extent of His conflicts of interest. Perhaps the House or Senate investigative committees could subpoena Trump’s Tax returns (hint).
Trump refuses to open the logs of visitors to the White House or Mar-a-Lago. Why? What is He hiding?
The Trump administration is now loaded with billionaires and former lobbyists who are making policy for their favorite former bosses.
Ethics rules are questioned daily and being dumped in the Swamp. Regulatory rules, environmental protections, worker rights and safety rules are being tossed into the Swamp by the Swamp Monster.
Voters were swamped and we are stuck in the muck for four mucking years.
