Trump ordered review of the financial industry regulations known as Dodd-Frank; and halted implementation of a rule that requires financial advisers to act in the best interests of their clients.

Without the control of Dodd-Frank we had the biggest meltdown of the U.S. economy since the Great Depression and Republicans only allowed Government to bail out the banks, insurance companies and the wealthy.

Workers not included.

Of course to Trump, Dodd-Frank legislation is a “disaster” (one of two words often used by Trump) is his thinking process. The other word is “huge”.

Putting the “risk” back into banking and allowing “brokers” to sell all their junk financial instruments to the people were not the best ideas under the last Bush administration.

Deregulation led to massive losses for many.
