Trump and Anti-Semitism

TRUMP AND ANTI-SEMITISM  ~ T. Rump, Trump By Trump  – 2-2017

First the President excludes reference to Jews in the Holocaust remembrance. Numerous threats to Jewish centers since January have even included a few bomb threats. Trump said  or did nothing.

Hillary Clinton tweeted everyone must speak out, starting (with) @POTUS,” and then President Donald Trump said Tuesday the recent spate of threats targeting the Jewish community in the US are “horrible” and “painful” as he faced a growing chorus of calls from Democrats and Jewish leaders urging him to speak out.

At two recent press conferences, Trump failed to address the issue even when pressed by the press. He focused on defending charges against himself.

A President should not need a reminder, or many reminders, to speak out against violence. We need a President that works and speaks to unite all Americans into a greater community and to make our country great again.

Trump finally said, “we have to fight bigotry, intolerance and hatred in all of its very ugly forms. The anti-Semitic threats targeting our Jewish community and community centers are horrible and are painful and a very sad reminder of the work that still must be done to root out hate and prejudice and evil.”
