During the campaign, Trump claimed the jobs figures were untrue and that the country was not gaining jobs at a good rate and that the economy was not doing well under Obama.
After a month in office he claimed great increases in jobs due to his handling of His Presidency. But the truth is most jobs at this point are due to Obama’s steady hand.
Employers have been planning on hiring for months and none expected Trump to win the election when they were making their plans to hire.
If six months to a year from now, Trump has a higher rate of employment than Obama, Trump will deserve credit. But, if not, he will not believe the figures.
So far the only policy Trump has in effect is locating and removing illegal immigrants from their jobs so that those jobs will have to be filled.
