Do you feel conned by your President and all politicians? Is what you hoped for buried by money in politics, the Koch brothers and others.
Well, get use to it. Money controls our politicians.
Big insurance companies, hospitals and pharmaceuticals control healthcare. It is complicated. Politicians on both sides or all sides get donations from pharmaceuticals and that makes health care very complicated. Free markets are good but not good for universal coverage for all.
Government is “broke” and “broken.” It needs repair but big money interests do not want it fixed.
Citizens United decision says let the money flow to politicians and they will listen to the big contributors.
We need to first fix campaign finance. That fix is required for all good things.
