Chairman Jason Chaffetz of the House Oversight Committee
said he saw “no data to support the notion that Gen. Michael Flynn complied with the law” in accepting payment from the Russians.
Retired lieutenant general Flynn was required to obtain permission before receiving foreign payments.
“It was inappropriate and there are repercussions for the violation of law.”
Flynn was Trump’s first choice as National Security and was fired or resigned. He obviously was not property vetted by Trump.
